🧖♀️ How to use our sauna
🔥 Sauna heating – step by step
It is heated from the outside – it is placed in the fireplace stove from the outside. You don't even have to go into the sauna itself to place the stove – great, right?
1. Starting a fire:
- Place 2–3 smaller logs in the firebox.
- Light them with a lighter or small wood (chips, splinters).
- Close the door and let the fire burn.
2. Add gradually:
- Add 1-2 logs every 15-20 minutes.
- The sauna heats up in about 45–60 minutes to an ideal 70–90 °C (but feel free to do it earlier – the stove is always hot first 😄).
3. Let the stove burn out:
- Once the sauna is sufficiently heated, do not add any more fuel.
- The heat will last a long time. Enjoy it to the fullest!
⚠️ Safety instructions
- Take a shower before entering the sauna - your body will warm up faster and the sauna will stay clean.
- Please do not enter the sauna under the influence of alcohol or if you have health problems (heart, blood pressure, pregnancy).
- Children under 12 years old only when accompanied by an adult.
- No flammables, perfumes or sprays belong in the sauna.
- Please leave food and drinks outside the door – a sauna is not a picnic 😉
- Always sit/lie on a towel or sheet – for comfort and hygiene.
- Do not cover the door – for safe ventilation and air flow.
🧴 After sauna use, we recommend
- Take a lukewarm shower, use our cooling bucket, or...
- ...for the brave – climb into the river! ❄️💪
- Rest quietly for at least 10-20 minutes.
- Don't forget to replenish your fluids - water or herbal tea are great.
💡 Final tip
A sauna is ideal in the evening before bed - it warms you up, relaxes you, and calms you down.
